I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! I will be the first to admit that I don’t know much about Gundam. In my travels to Japan, I see that it is wildly popular and there is even a huge Gundam statue near the Shizuoka train station. This is the birthplace of the Gundam industry, being the home of Tamiya, Hasegawa, Fujimi, Aoshima, Bandai Spirits and more. I never got to visit during the annual Hobby Show but was able to spend a Saturday walking around the shops, displays and museums in town. This kit is part of the High Grade series of 1/144 scale Gundam and represents the Neo Zeon Prototype (precursor to Sazabi) Mobile Suit. It is a highly flexible figure with countless joints to allow you to display it in numerous positions. It will look pretty good right out of the box. For those who are more serious, you could spend some time adding more details and character to the finish and it can be something to really be proud of. There are plenty of listings for this kit on eBay (most of them from Japan), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this kit to you very quickly. He spends quite a bit of time demonstrating all of the articulations incorporated in the kit. ZakuAurelius authored a glowing 14-minute Out of Box Review Video on YouTube that tries to answer the question: Is this the best High Grade Gundam ever made? He says that it possibly is and then goes into incredible detail showing the intricate features and articulation incorporated in this kit. He was happy that an Action Base 5 was included and felt the large size of the Gundam was nice. You can see the kit built in under 9 minutes by Ongky PLAMO on YouTube. There is no narration or commentary, just an instrumental accompaniment. If you want to have a wingman for your build, this is a great place to watch the entire construction sequence. This kit is in a nicely decorated box about 12” x 8” x 4”. It came to me still sealed with a couple tape strips and a pair of plastic ribbons. I sold it and had it returned by a buyer who simply changed their mind (after opening the box). None of the plastic bags were opened and I did an exhaustive inventory of the sprues, so I know that everything is present and accounted for. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and the parts are all there. In any event, I consider the kit factory sealed inside and absolutely build-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with multi-color and clear plastic parts and an Action Base 5 to bring this Moon Gundam to life.
