Item comes with storage and usage directions along with tips if you are having trouble removing the backing of your topper. This item is very temperamental in different weather conditions. Everyone has different skill levels when dealing with these. They do not “MELT” technically and this is a non-perishable item, but they can get very soft in high temps and making it hard to get backing off. Same as with the heat, the extreme cold can make them very brittle. We package these very well with Fragile and do not bend or force in mailbox warnings in multiple places on package, but it can still happen. Please contact us if so. We can’t control how ruff the mail people are with these. It’s rare, but if it does happen, we apologize in advance and will be happy to help.
