Recently wired and working well. We restored the finish by cleaning it while keeping the patina and copper flashed finish as much as possible. A true antique gas lamp, converted to electric. The antique glass shades are gorgeous, with only one small chip (see closeup). The copper flashed finish of the fixture has some areas of rubbing or loss, and the pole and canopy have retained more black than the arms, but it all blends well and looks amazing. Antique Pass & Seymour brass sockets added. They have been cleaned, polished, tested and are working well. The brass will tarnish over time to give them more age – they were all in different stages of patina and didn’t go well together, so they were polished. She uses three standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts each. The gas cocks (keys/knobs) match with Faries No 1517 in catalog 13. Bulbs and ceiling mount screws not included.
