Lionel #2321 FM Diesel Locomotive Powered, Complete O / O27 Freight Train Set __________________________________________________ This is a used Lionel #2321 Fairbanks Morse diesel locomotive powered, complete O / O27 4 unit freight train set. It is a complete train set and is in very good operating condition. The locomotive shell is from an FM Diesel, but the steel frame, die-cast motor truck and die-cast collector truck are from GP models. The track and transformer are also in very good operating condition. Included in this sale are the following: 1 – Lionel #2321 Fairbanks Morse Lackawanna diesel locomotive. The shell is the original 2321 shell, which is in rough condition, but the steel frame, die-cast motor truck and die-cast collector truck are from various GP models. It has a powerful AC motor. working front and rear headlights, lenses, number boards and 2 decorative horns. It has a 3 position e unit that allows it to run in the forward and reverse directions controlled from the transformer. The 2321 was built from 1954 to 1956. 1 – Lionel #16372 8 wheel Southern I beam flatcar with a faux plywood load. The 16732 was built in 1992. 1 – Lionel #6264 8 wheel flatcar with a removable semi trailer load held on with a small bungee cord. The 6264 was built from 1957 to 1960. 1 – Lionel unnumbered 8 wheel SP style caboose, which was built in the post war era between 1946 and 1969. 1 – Lionel type A 90 watt transformer with a speed control, a 110 volt power cord with wall plug, a red over current light, a 2 conductor track power cable and a track power connector for connection to the track. The type A was built from 1947 to 1948. 8 – O27 gauge curved track sections.4 – O27 gauge straight track sections.. 1 – Standard operating instruction booklet 1 – Track polishing pad I completely assembled the set and tested everything. This train is in very good condition, especially since the components are approximately 30 to 70 years old. The locomotive, has had some repairs and touch up, but nothing that interferes with the operation of the train, and it runs great. The transformer has been reconditioned and is a real powerhouse with up to 24 volts output. The track does have some rust and tarnish. I lightly cleaned them, made sure each track has 3 pins and the train runs nicely on these tracks. I am including a track polishing pad to maintain the tracks in good operating condition, I do not have any original manuals for these components, the instruction booklet I am including gives basic tips and suggestions for operation.
