Genuine MG Rover Classic Watch !!! Discontinued model from 2000’s. Ultra rare model, yet along in this condition, brand new and complete with original box and instruction manual. Swiss movement inside. Medium sized case, impossible to find it nowadays. Big date feature.This MG timepiece has a modified classic three hand configuration, and is reminiscent of pocket watch designs. A hand for the hour and minute respectively, are complimented by a large, small-second sub-dial that has a different color than than dial for a perfect contrast. The mirror polished all stainless steel case that has a shock protection for the crown and a mineral crystal, will safeguard your precious timepiece for many years to come. A matte beige/ivory dial with crisp black minute markers, black big Arabic numerals with a classic font, big date feature at 12 o’clock, stainless steel MG logo at 3 o’clock and small second sub-dial at 6 o’clock on a concentric background, will flatter any wrist with it’s elegant design. A screw-in stainless steel back makes the watch water resistant to 5 ATM. The watch is secured on your wrist by a brown genuine leather band that has brown top stitching on it and closes with an MG logo laser engraved stainless steel buckle. Date feature: the extra large date display is one of the special features of your MG watch; it is indicated by two, instead of only one disc; the left one bears the numbers 0 to 3, the right one 0 to 9.ATTENTION !!! Every known brand submits the watch to a 2-phase test in a chamber, where it has to withstand to pressure for the minimum length of time required by industrial standards. HOWEVER: The water resistance of a wristwatch is constantly challenged by mechanical wear caused by bumps, shocks etc., rapid changes in temperature, caustic acids, chemicals, etc. and can therefore not be guaranteed as a permanent condition. I renounces to using inflationary «theoretical» claims; the decision to wear your valuable timepiece for swimming, diving or in the Sauna is yours. On a side-note: only very few specially trained and equipped divers reach depths of 100 m and wear professional computers to indicate the life-saving compression- and decompression data; at such depths, normal watches will just not do.
