Thank you. PLEASE READ FURTHER DOWN ABOUT THIS VERY NICE LOOKING RADIO. Up for your consideration is this Vintage & NICE Looking 1946 TEMPLE Tube Wood Cabinet AM RADIO THAT IS IN WORKING CONDITION. The model number on this Amazing looking radio is E-514 & was produced in the Late 1940’s era. This was a fairly popular radio when it was introduced & is still a fairly popular & desirable radio by today’s standards. THIS VINTAGE NICE LOOKING TEMPLE RADIO THAT JUST LOOKS WONDERFUL & IT WORKS. The Wood cabinet on this Beauty I believe has it’s Original Finish & looks Great (Not) perfect as there are some small nicks. The grain in the wood is just FABULOUS to say the least. This radio has been cleaned & polished which still retains it’s original sheen or shine. I have taken Many Pictures so you may get a good view at this Nice looking & Working Radio. The GLASS AM dial scale lens is in nice condition that is clean & clear & with good graphics & working dial light! The 2 Brown Bakelite Plastic control knobs are in fantastic looking & working condition. The back panel is present & in fair to good condition but it is Fragile. The chassis is in Great condition & it is a 5-tube unit with 2-controls that are in good working condition. The 2-controls are (from left to right) 1-ON/OFF/VOLUME & TUNING. The tube line up is One-35Z5, One-12SA7, One-12SQ7, One-12SK7 & One-50L6. The chassis had some Capacitors replaced as needed & a nice electric cord. This radio has been restored to good working condition. When this Nice looking TEMPLE radio is powered up,it picks up Many AM stations in my area & plays them nicely with plenty of volume. PLEASE FINISHING READING THE REST OF THE DESCRIPTION. now with all this being said about how nice this radio looks & it does look “NICE” but it is still a vintage piece of electronics & with all my vintage electronics it is being SOLD IN “AS IS” condition with NO warranty.This “TEMPLE” would make an Excellent addition to your radio collection or as a stand alone radio as it’s power & beauty will surely be the talk of the room by all whom enter. The “APPROXIMATE” sized of this Fabulous GEM is 13″ Long, 6-3/4″ Wide/Deep & 8-3/4″ High. PLEASE READ BELOW This is a vintage radio & must be handled & cared for & treated in this manor & not like a modern day boombox. Tube radio technology “unlike modern day solid state radios” can have interference/noise in the sound quality, caused by kitchen appliances, computer monitors, flat screen TV’S, florescent lights, washing machines, high power wires above your home, etc… So where you position/place this radio in your home can make a huge difference & the direction/position it is set in. A lot of tube radios are “Directional” meaning you “MAY” have to turn the radio one way or the other to receive the best reception. Tube radio usually take 30 to 45 seconds after they have been turned/powered ON before they will start playing as the tubes have to warm up.
